BIRTHDAY PARTIES

We would be more than happy to host a " School Birthday Party " for your child. Many parents like to send a cake or have a mini party for their child at school. It would be our pleasure to help you plan and coordinate such an event.

You can make the birthday party as simple or complex as you wish. Some parents go all out complete with animals farms and Pinata while others keep it simple because they have a grand one at home. It's your choice.

For $25 (to offset our costs) we will even take pictures (65 pictures) and make a 5 minute DVD of the event at school with CD and DVD cover etched with lighscribe technology.

If you sending a cake, we prefer a simple healthy cake with no cream, which gets real messy not to mention being pretty unhealthy. If you can make it at home with real sugar that's even better. We do not allow Pizza for a birthday party.

A mini cake with one candle with healthy homemade sandwiches are an excellent choice. Make sure you cut off the rinds (the hard edge of the bread) so that it would easier for the kids small mouths. And cut them small.

Only 100% juice is allowed or how about making a strawberry or Kiwi milkshake? Kids love fruit smoothies for summer birthday parties.

If you are hosting a birthday party at school you must send all supplies. That means the candles, plates, forks, napkins and paper cups. If you want to bring decorations that's ok, but no balloons as these are a choking hazard.

Not necessary. Some parents do make small gifts bags that includes a party hat, sound makers, bracelets and the like. This is entirely up to you. Do what you can afford. Kids would be happy with a small treat.

Birthday are usually hosted at 3:00 p.m. so as to not interfere with the school classroom time. Besides we don't want them loaded with sugar or get overly excited the rest of the day. Considering we have so many birthdays in a year, that would disrupt the school too many times in a year.

Of course! Some parents hire a fairy princess with magic trucks while others bring an Animal farm complete with pony rides. Expensive but sure makes for a memorable experience. Of course you need to provide the school with full contact details.
