PLAYGROUNDS

The best feature of our playground are two large Mulberry trees that provides amazing shade to protect your child from the harsh sun.. No artificial awning or sunshades can match the sheer cooling power of these two trees. To keep the kids even cooler we have wired up tree with a spray mister on the branches, so keeping a water mist rains down on the kids.

Our playground is however more than just a playground. A large section of this playground is devoted to our annual gardening project which starts in April and carries on untill July. (See our gardening section) for more details)

A great playground should have little nooks and crannies that children can explore on their own. We have little playhouses where they can imagine. Yes we have one swing and a three colorfull climber too for the really active kids.

We created our our little picket fence. Sure it's not very long. Just a little strip really, but we think it adds a certain touch to our beautiful garden

These are the tools of trade. Yup. Watering cans and shovels and rakes. We like to keep them nice and neat once we finish watering the plants or weeding. Some kids bring their own gloves and gardening attire which adds to the fun. Some moms love to visit the dollar store with their kids and get all kitted out.

Imagine eating outdoors everyday under a shade tree. What fun! We are blessed with two trees that provide great shade while the kids eat. Kids can observe the birds or gaze at trhe sky while they eat. Defintely better for digestion.

We use the front playground during the summer months, especially July and August when we have water play twice a week to keep the kids cool

The front playground is also used in the fall months to play soccer or maybe have an animal show.
